Recognition

As stated in the SCORE Policy Book, the SCORE State Board of Directors recognizes the following awards to be annually given at the SCORE conference:

  •  First Year Experience Award

  • Program of the Year

  • SCC of the Year

  • Advisor of the Year

  • School of the Year

These awards will be voted upon by the attendees of the 2015 SCORE Conference.  After the voting has been concluded, the awards will be presented at the end of the conference ceremonies.

All that wish to submit a bid for these awards are required to do so by the January 30th, 2015.  Please take the time to read over the policy book in order to prevent any policy violations.  If violations are found, the bid will be sent back to the individual(s) from whom the bid was received.  The bids will then be edited and resent to the Associate Director of Recognition for another reviewing.  If the bid meets all requirements and does not violate any regulations of the policy book, the submitter will receive a bid review sheet that he/she must complete before the 2015 SCORE Conference

The General Guidelines for All Bids, as stated in the SCORE Policy Book, are:

  • All bids must be submitted by the designated due date (January 30th, 2015) in order to be considered.

  • Cover or title pages do not count towards the page limitations, but dividers, appendices, and letters of recommendation do count.

  • Any information included in the bid that does no coincide with the specified time frame (SCORE to SCORE in February) will be excluded in the final decision.

More information and specific guidelines to the awards that will be available for the upcoming conference can be found on the SCORE website in the Policy Book.  The URL for this resource is: http://scoresc.org/policy-book_10-4.pdf

*Be mindful that only the awards listed in the above statement will be accepted and pursued at the 2015 SCORE Conference. (FYE, POY, SCCOY, AOY, SOY)
